Hey there!

I’m Vicky (she/her), a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field. My personal experiences with trauma and grief drew me to the counselling profession, as it helped to make meaning of my experiences, as well as offered profound healing. Working in the mental health field as a support worker also inspired me to work with people on a deeper level, recognising the inner strength and inherent worth of every client. In my time off, I enjoy a bonfire by a river, analysing a creative film, cuddling with my cats, and spending time with loved ones.

How I work:

As a counsellor, I approach therapy from a bottom-up, attachment-based perspective, helping clients move out of their heads and into greater connection with their bodies and emotions at a manageable pace. Sometimes we experience things in life that never should have happend to us, and we must find ways to move forward. I would like to join you on that journey. I’m open to walking, sitting in the office, and customising our sessions to be what you need. I work with a trauma-informed resilience lens, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic-Based Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I have worked with clients who experience:

  • Grief and loss

  • Substance use

  • Mental health struggles

  • Deconstruction/reconstruction

  • Identity exploration

My services are available to individual adults. If you feel like we might be a good fit, fill out the contact details below and we'll schedule a free 20-minute consultation call.
